One-Week Marketing Plan: Zen for Online Businesses
Have you just put up your website and aren't sure what to do with it now? Having a marketing plan for your business will give you a blueprint to follow. Zen of a one-week plan comes from establishing a plan that works. While this easy plan can help you have one to start marketing your business, always re-evaluate what is working and change what isn't.
1. Write articles. Marketing plans that include articles are top of the line ways to market your business free. All of the article directories are free to sign up and give you killer link juice. When you write an article for marketing, make sure you write a unique one per directory. This is necessary for higher rankings in Google so that yours lists near the top of the search for your keywords. Take time to write and submit at least 5 articles per day or outsource these to someone else to write.
2. Submit your site all over the web. Do social book marketing, directory submissions and search engine submissions. You can find a service for these on the Internet for cheap or a monthly price. The links will boost your site in the search engines and get it listed faster. Doing this is a one time thing. You won't have to add this to your list to do each week.
3. Comment on blogs and forums. Find popular blogs to comment on and do so. Stake out popular forums like Warrior Forum or Digital Point and show up there everyday, commenting. This will bring you the most traffic because people in online business need your service just as much as they need others. So make yourself known each day of every week and you will find good things follow.
4. Work on backlinks. If you haven't heard of Paul and Angela's backlinks packages, you should check them out. Google their names along with Warrior Forum and you will find them. You can choose to outsource the backlinks or do them yourself. Make sure you do these because they will help you boost your search engine rankings and you want to be at the top spot for your keywords.
5. Guest post. Remember those popular blogs you commented on? Start asking for guest posts. Write reader loving guest posts, the kind that make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside and you will have floods of traffic arriving at your website.
When you finish the one-week marketing plan, rinse and repeat, doing it all over again next week. Make sure to add other strategies you come across and tweak anything that isn't working.
