Discover The Funniest Baby Shower Game

I have seen many baby shower games and I am sure you have too, but one of the funniest ones I have seen is the 'bathe the baby' game. That does not sound very exciting does it, but the low key name is all part of putting the expectant mother in the right frame of mind - relaxed, happy and ready to start her new experience.

When I say this game was played, it was actually a test between two first time mums, both with one month to go before the baby was born. I must say, the fact that the women were first time mums made it even funnier!

How the game came together:

The hostess had a table set up with two large dolls lying on it, both of them wrapped in snuggle rugs as if they had been asleep, plus a baby bath of water and towels, etc. that would be used when bathing the baby. It all looked so innocent! Not so!

The two mums quite seriously approached the table and started unwrapping their 'little bundle of joy.' Each doll had a disposable nappy on and some clothing so the mums had to undress the doll and take off the nappy before bathing it and redressing it in its play clothes.

The mood was a happy one and the mums tried to prove they were going to be capable mums BUT, oh my gosh, the fun then started!

As each mum started taking the nappy off, I honestly thought they were going to faint!

The hostess had filled the nappy with a chocolate paste!! Can you just imagine the look on their faces when they started to take the nappy off and it stuck to the doll because of the sticky chocolate paste! It was the funniest sight I have ever seen! Especially as at first, they did not know what this brown sticky stuff was!

After all the goo was wiped off and the baby bathed everyone had to agree it was the funniest sight they had ever seen. I think even more so because of the fact that there were two very nervous mothers-to-be doing the bottom wiping!

There was not doubt that the group of mums at the baby shower thought this was just the funniest game. I thought one of the poor dolls was going to end up on the floor because the mother was laughing so hard.

There are hundreds of baby shower games and the best ones are interactive and create a happy mood so that everyone relaxes and has fun. First time mums can be quite nervous at this time as they really have no idea what they have let themselves in for and have heard so many stories about the good and the bad things that happen, that a happy and funny day is just what they need.
